MECHATRONICS TRAINING PROGRAMMES
PNEUMATICS (Four modules: PI I I,P121,EP211,1P212)
Applied technology that deals with the mechanical properties of gases and the use of compressed air on inert gas in powering cylinders, motors, actuators, valves and other pneumatic devices. Course will provide details of display of motion sequences and switch states, set-up controls with relays, electrical self-latching switches, application of magnetic proximity switch, application of pressure switch and troubleshooting of simple to moderately complex pneumatic system.
Applied Science that deals with the mechanical properties of Liquids and the use of oil as the working fluid. Course will show ways in which hydraulics can be used to give power to cylinders, hydraulic motors, actuators, valves and other hydraulic devices and will also include details on hydraulic components operation and applications with electrical control system.
PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLERS
(PLC) (Three modules: E31 I , E3 I 10, E322)
A digitally operating electronic system, designed for use in an industrial automation environment. Course will expose trainees to the control system that uses memory for the internal storage of user-oriented programming instructions for implementing specific functions such as logic, sequencing, timing counting and arithmetic to control, through digital or analog inputs and outputs of various types of machine and processes.
A multidisciplinary field of engineering that covers applications in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, control engineering and computer engineering in one discipline that is in demand in the industrial field.The course also includes aspects of pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity/electronics and sensory process automation using modular production system and semi robotics control system.
